The team travelled to the Radison Blu Hotel in the heart of Glasgow city centre, just a short walk from Previse’s Glasgow office where Previse was announced as the Fintech Innovation of the year.
In its ninth year, the Digital Technology Awards are a showcase of the most innovative and sophisticated technology being developed in Scotland. Previse was recognised for our unique approach, applying this highly advanced technology to one of the biggest problems facing small businesses globally – slow payments.
We’re honoured and humbled by the reception that Previse has received from the wider technology and supplier payments industries. So far this year, Previse has picked up five industry awards.
Collecting the award, Margery McConnell, said:
“Slow payments is shooting up the corporate agenda. There is a growing appreciation that the current norm can’t continue. Not only is the wider public becoming growingly impatient with the situation, it isn’t financially sustainable for buyers or suppliers.
What makes Previse such a rewarding company to be a part of is that we are right at the coal face, tackling this problem, and using cutting-edge, award-winning new technology to do it,” added McConnell. “Introducing new technology and helping firms to change decades of culturally ingrained payment practices is challenging, but very rewarding work.
These awards underline the progress we’ve made in a few short years, and we’re extremely proud to collect this award on behalf of the global Previse team.”
